Customer Reviews

  • Looking good after 2 years
Review by RichBinAZ / (Posted on 3/20/2018)
After the original Yausa battery died after 2 years in my FZ-09, I decided to break the "lead acid battery" chain and go LiFePO4. I like the 4 connections at the top as it will fit the battery box in any orientation. It has been in the bike for 2 years & 1 month (march 2018) and works fine with no trickle charging. Bike fires up no problem after sitting for a month at a time. At $100, all i need is for the battery to last 4 years for break even with a cheap lead acid (already ahead at Yausa's price!), They say it will go 6 years, I'm finding out.
Now I am putting one in my other bike - similar story, lead acid - died in 2 years. Time to break the chain again by buying my second LiFePO4. I would put one in a car if they made them big enough and cheap enough - it's getting very close!
