Return Policy
Remy Battery is dedicated to our customers’ satisfaction, and we pride ourselves in selling quality products and providing excellent customer service. In the event that you wish to return one of our products, please review the following information carefully.
Return Materials Authorization
Before shipping any product(s) back to Remy Battery, contact customer service at (800) 455-7400 or sales@remybattery.com to obtain an authorization number. Include your name, order number, product description, reason for return and a way to contact you. A Remy Battery representative will contact you to discuss your claim and provide return instructions. All returns must be pre-approved by Remy Battery and must include a copy of the receipt. All returned items must have a Return Materials Authorization number.
Damaged Products
If a product is damaged upon receipt, Remy Battery will replace the damaged or defective product at no charge to the customer if Remy Battery is contacted within seven (7) days of receipt.
Defective Products
Defective products are covered under a separate warranty. For specific information regarding warranty protection, please see the warranty included with your product, or contact Remy Battery for assistance. The product must be shipped to Remy Battery at the customer’s expense, and Remy Battery shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is defective. If the product is determined to be defective and is covered by warranty, Remy Battery will ship a replacement product to the customer at no charge. If Remy Battery determines that the product is not defective, the item will be returned to the customer, provided that the customer is responsible for shipping.
All Other Returns
Returns for reasons other than damaged or defective products must be made within thirty (30) days of purchase and are subject to a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee (in addition to the other requirements listed in this policy). The customer is responsible for shipping. All returned items must be unused and in the original packaging.
Shipping Requirements
Once a return has been approved by Remy Battery, the product(s) must be packaged in a way to avoid possible damage during transit. Products that are damaged during return transit due to improper packaging and/or carrier mishandling may no longer be covered by warranty. The customer is responsible for shipping insurance, and Remy Battery will not be responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping.
