This is a nice charger, but I like the older model better. I use the older model to keep the battery charged for my Ham radio station. The radio can draw up to 25 amps when transmiting, but only 1.5 amps when receiving. I use the radio for 4 hours a day. The problem with the new model is it thinks there is some sort of problem whenever I key the transmiter and puts the charger into a fault mode and stops charging. I then have to unplug the charger and plug it back in. This is not a problem with the older model. So, this is a good charger, but only if you're not using the battery to power anything while you're charging it.
